ADMISSION

The Director handles enrollment. An interview and a visit through the center are recommended before admission.  Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.  Parent may enroll their child on a full or part time basis.  If a child is enrolled full time, that child may be dropped off at any time between the hours of 7:30am – 5:30pm. 

If a parent chooses to enroll their child part time, they may opt for any of the following:

Half time five mornings (7:30am – 12:30pm)

Half time five afternoons (12:30pm – 5:30pm)

Part time (1, 2, 3, or 4 full days)

Part time (1, 2, 3, or 4 half days)

Hope Child Development Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, cultural heritage, religion, sex, political belief or disabilities.  Each child who enters the center and has their admission papers complete must have health records attached before the child will be allowed into the center. A health record must accompany the admission papers upon enrollment and first day entrance into the program.  There is no provisional enrollment period.

TUITION

A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee per household and the first week’s tuition is due at the time of registration. Tuition is payable on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis on the Friday in advance of care.  A 15% sibling discount will be given on the lower tuition of each additional child.  This discount will be offered only if a family has a child enrolled on a full time basis.  Tuition will be collected regardless of holidays, vacations, illness, and center closings due to inclement weather or other withdrawals.  The CDC offers limited scholarship for families experiencing extreme hardship.  These scholarships are approved by the Board of Director of Hope For New Haven Inc. and is made according to the availability of funds.  The CDC does accept Care 4 Kids. 

Tuitions are as follows:

New Born (6 weeks to 12 months)            $250 per week 

Infant (12 to 18 months)                           $250 per week 

Toddler (18 months to 3 years)                $230 per week 

Preschool (3 years to 5 years)                 $200 per week 

Before/After School                                 $75 per week

Summer of Fun Program                        $150 per week 

Part Time enrollment rates are available upon request.
