HOPE FOR NEW HAVEN was founded in 2000 in response to New Haven's need for affordable, quality childcare, marriage and family counseling and student tutoring, home schooling support services. Accordingly, we have developed a specific group of programs dedicated to meeting these needs within the community. Hope for New Haven is a collaborative project among three New Haven churches: Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA), St. John’s Episcopal Church and Trinity Baptist Church.

Hope for New Haven imagines communities transformed spiritually, economically and socially by individuals reconciled to God’s will for their lives.

Beliefs

Hope for New Haven believes

that God can transform any life and any community that has a heart for Him;
that God can perform wonderful works through individuals who are seeking first to serve Him;
that economic and social empowerment works best within the context of spiritual reconciliation.
